Gymnast and former DWTS contestant Simone Biles has earned four more medals during the Paris Olympics — bringing her total count to 11. In the midst of all this, unfounded rumors began to swirl on social media that Biles is currently pregnant.
According to Distractify, the pregnancy rumors can be traced back to a viral post on X (formerly Twitter) which read, “Still can’t get over the fact that Simone Biles did all of that while being injured AND pregnant! A true GOAT indeed.”
When someone questioned if this was true, the original poster apparently responded, “Yup, she announced it during one of her interviews this morning!” However, no such interview exists, and Biles has not announced a pregnancy.
The 27-year-old athlete is married to Jonathan Owens, an NFL player. The pair tied the knot last year. Although Biles isn’t currently pregnant, she and Owens want to be parents at some point in the future. According to Sportskeeda, Biles addressed the question of kids in a past social media Q&A.
“I would say 2 & Jonathan would say 3 is the perfect number. I don’t want to be outnumbered lol,” Biles wrote in response to a question about having children. In the meantime, she’s enjoying being an aunt to her brother’s daughter Ronni.

Is Biles Retiring from Gymnastics?
During the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, Biles chose to withdraw from the competition, citing her mental health. After a two-year break, she returned to gymnastics in 2023, and she joined Team USA for the Paris Games this summer.
However, some people want to know if Biles plans to retire after the 2024 Olympics. Her fellow gymnast Rebeca Andrade recently said that Biles had “confided that Paris would be her final competition.” However, Biles hasn’t given a definitive answer in interviews.
“Never say never,” Biles said recently about her plans, according to Style Caster. “The next Olympics are at home, so you just never know. But I am getting really old.” (Biles will be 31 during the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.)
