JoJo Siwa has been slammed on social media after she appeared on yet another reality show this week. This time, Siwa was revealed to be the famous relative of her cousin Jaelyn on FOX’s We Are Family.
JoJo Siwa Slammed for We Are Family Appearance
We Are Family is a new show on FOX in which non-famous people perform duets with their famous relatives. The twist is that the audience can’t see who the famous relative is (similar to The Masked Singer) until their identity is revealed.
In a recent episode of the show, Siwa’s cousin Jaelyn was the non-famous relative. It was eventually revealed that she was related to Siwa. Some viewers online expressed how tired they are of seeing Siwa on various reality shows.
“Why does JoJo Siwa have to be on every reality show? I don’t dislike her. It’s just overkill,” wrote one user on X (formerly Twitter). Another wrote, “Because JoJo needs to be on every show. #WeAreFamilyFOX… first Masked Singer then that Seals army show… now this show…”

Siwa Has Appeared on a Lot of Reality Shows
It’s true that Siwa has become somewhat of a fixture on reality television. She first made a name for herself on the show Dance Moms, and she’s appeared on a number of other reality shows since then, especially over the past few years.
That includes competing on The Masked Singer as T-Rex in 2020. In 2021, she was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars, finishing in second place. In 2022, she was a judge on So You Think You Can Dance.
Most recently, Siwa competed on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test alongside fellow celebrities such as Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval — who also competed on The Masked Singer.
